Why is it that when I'm sitting and staring at notes for an exam the next day I feel the urge to suddenly be creative again??? Wrong time!!!
In celebration (or resentment) of my staying at home for the summer I have devised a plan, actually not yet really, to make Rochester seem more interesting than it actually is.
Mission: entertain myself with the idea that Rochester is cool.
How will I do it: don't even know yet. Lots of photos and drawings and what else?! Only time and experimenting will tell. In the mean time I shall post some pictures which I haven't in a while but who cares because no one reads this anyways. Then back to studying visual perception and what are mediated images and what is Hollywood style?

hello, hello.

starting from the top is a sketch i tried making for one of my friends a couple years ago that didn't come out so great - and well i never gave it to him. during anatomy class, i remember. hey now, i still got an A.

the second is a quick charcoal drawing that was of a jewelry ad. the photo was so nice and my drawing does it no justice.

lastly but not least is this really cool colorful painting by cy twombley from the museum of modern art in chicago. we weren't allowed to take pictures but i managed to snag one and glad i did.

oh p.s. - i cried during Valentino.

i was so self conscious that the people behind me knew that i pretended to be looking for my phone which i then dropped on the floor. but it was all worth it.
